The goal of this program is to enhance healthcare professionals’ ability to detect those at risk for developing acute compartment syndrome and how to care for them. After you study the information presented here, you will be able to —

  • Identify the physiological cause of acute compartment syndrome.
  • List the six “P’s” that comprise the signs and symptoms of neurovascular compromise.
  • Describe the treatment of acute compartment syndrome.
